The
Spiritual Mystery of Week Days
B.K. Bhagwan, Shantivan
The
memorial of divine duties performed by God Shiva at this Confluence Age is
observed in the form of various festivals, cultural carnivals, fasts, rituals
etc. Behind every festival, fast, ritual, some spiritual mystery is hidden. If
we first understand the spiritual mystery and then conduct and perform deeds,
this will lead us towards self progress. Through this article, the spiritual
mystery of week days has been explained:
1.
Monday: As per Hindu mythology, Monday
is considered to be the day of Supreme Soul God Shiva’s day. The week begins
with this very day. At the end of Kaliyuga, when there is darkness of ignorance
in the world; at such a time God Shiva’s reincarnation takes places in the body
of His corporeal medium, whom He renames as Prajapita Brahma. Through the lotus
mouth of Prajapita Brahma, He feeds us nectar of knowledge (called Somras in
Hindi), i.e. the world creator bestows on us – the knowledge of beginning,
middle and end of the creator and creation. Who am I? Who is my spiritual
father? Where have I come from? The answers of many such questions such as:
What is the knowledge of beg; middle and end of the world etc., are called
Knowledge or nectar of Knowledge or Somras;
thus, called Somvar in Hindi. Thus,
Monday is considered to the day of God Shiva.
2.
Tuesday: After the attainment of nectar
of Knowledge or Godly Knowledge, one gets answers to all the questions and
there is auspicious (Mangal)
communion (Milan) with God. This very fact is very well explained in the verse
‘Soul and Supreme Soul remained separated for a long while; it pave the way of
a beautiful communion when Satguru has been attained as agent.’ Through the
communion with God, one attains supreme bliss and the life becomes grateful.
That is why it is called Mangalvar in
Hindi, and this day is said to belong to the day of auspicious Lord (Mangalam
Bhagwan), i.e. Vishnu (the combined form of Shri Lakshmi and Shri Narayan). In
Confluence Age, God Himself sustains as a sustainer. And one enjoys auspicious
communion with God, every moment.
3.
Wednesday: After Godly communion, the power
which one attains broadens one’s intellect. The feelings of fortunate souls who
commune with God become spiritual feelings. The bodily vision comes to an end
and by drinking the nectar of knowledge and having communion with God, one becomes
a knowledgeable soul. That is why Wednesday is said to be the day of goddess of
knowledge – Saraswati.
4.
Thursday: After drinking the nectar of
knowledge and having communion with God, one’s intellect gets broadened; thus,
Satguru becomes happy with such a soul. With the attainments of many blessings
from Satguru, impossible tasks become possible. Then, it becomes easy to
inculcate any teaching taught by God. Since God’s blissful hands are with one,
one becomes successful in all fields.
5.
Friday: After Satguru becomes happy with
the souls, they get real joy. All such souls feel contented. Therefore, Friday
is said to be the day of Santoshi Maa
(Mother of Contentment) and all such souls say from the heart, “We have
attained what we had to; nothing has remained unattained.”
6.
Saturday: When one feels super-sensuous
joy through Godly communion, which is attained by few lucky souls in this
world, the material, splendour, relations of this world as well as the
momentary or sensual pleasures from vices such as lust, greed, attachment, ego
etc. seem to be pale. Consequently, these lucky souls are liberated from the
vices, i.e. Saturn and they attain power from Godly communion. Thus, these
souls become courageous or brave, i.e. Mahaveers; that is why Saturday is said
to be the day of Mahaveer.
7.
Sunday: After getting liberation from
all the vices, the souls attain liberation, i.e. they are liberated from the
cycle of birth and death in this world for some time. The souls go back to
their original Home, i.e. Incorporeal World or Soul World. In other words, they
are off this world. That is why Sunday is an off day or holiday. Through the
truthful knowledge of God, God’s communion and blessings, the souls become
holy. Thus, they attain the inheritance of liberation and fruition from God.
Thus,
on the basis of memorable duties performed by God at this Confluence Age, the
memorial is observed as all the 7-week days. Every day is in sequence, ego.
Monday is followed by Tuesday; Wednesday is followed by Tuesday and so on.
After drinking the nectar of knowledge from God, there is auspicious communion
with Him and thereafter, the intellect gets broadened, then Satguru feels happy
with those souls and the heart says “Thanks” to Him, which is called Shukriya
in Hindi, thus, the day is called Shukravar, i.e. Friday. Then, being liberated
from the eclipse of Saturn or Shani, i.e. vices, all the souls go back to their
original sweet silence home and then again descend on this world in various
epochs such as Satyuga, Tretayuga, Dwaparyuga and Kaliyuga.
Presently,
God Shiva Himself is feeding the nectar of Knowledge through which the souls
will be liberated from the eclipse of Saturn (Shani), i.e. because now Sunday
is about to come. In other words, from this old world we souls have to return
to our Sweet Silence Home. Incorporeal God Shiva Himself is performing the
greatest task of feeding nectar of knowledge to human souls of the entire world
so as to liberate them from the vices. Thus, you are humbly requested to visit the
nearest centre of Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya.
